1. This week, sharing this chic Uniqlo sweater, currently $60.
This sweater is so pretty! I love the shape, the cut, all the colors it comes in which are perfect for fall. I also like the composition, although I’m afraid of itchy, but I’ve generally found my Uniqlo natural fiber options not to be itchy. Anyone seen this in “real life”? I’m a fan of the entire U line this season.

3. An interesting piece, via the NYT, about Birkenstock’s recent IPO. I love Birkenstock but don’t know if it is worth such a high multiple personally….but will be watching! I worry about the company over expanding and maintaining quality, however…I guess at that point I’ll just have to buy Crocs? Ha.
4. Sharing one of those classic juicy Vanity Fair crime pieces (which sadly seem to be no longer published in the magazine): Murder in Monaco.
5. This week, I have not been reading anything great to be honest – so instead I’d like to share that I’ve been catching up on The Golden Bachelor, which I find a nice show to watch while I’m puzzling. It’s a nicer tone than the prior bachelors and I wonder whether any of you are watching? Sharing an article I enjoyed on the show!

October 20, 2023 at 7:18 amI’ve had my eye on that sweater too! I haven’t seen it IRL, though, and I’ve heard the sweater quality at Uniqlo has really declined this season just like everywhere else. I’m sitting on it until more reviews pop up (right now there’s only one and it’s not looking good), so I can avoid the shipping and return fees.

October 23, 2023 at 12:41 pmI agree, the overall quality of Uniqlo has declined in recent years as the prices have gone-up. I rarely shop there anymore. I’ve been shopping more at Quince lately.. on the recommendation from your linen dress review, thank you! I bought their $50 cashmere sweater, but haven’t had a chance to wear it yet.. will test it this winter.
