1. This week, sharing this great cardigan from J.W. Anderson for Uniqlo.
I like this a lot! I’ve been looking for a great cricket style sweater for some time but all the good ones are quite expensive (RL, Tory Burch). This one is a great slouchy style, a nice price, and all cotton/linen. I’m going to add it to my next Uniqlo order (when I have to meet the free shipping, grr).
2. Sharing this piece, via the WSJ, about how shopping got so boring.

3. An interesting article, via Harpers Bazaar, on Generation Z’s relationship with fast fashion.
4. I enjoyed this Vanity Fair feature on Candace Owens (!!) because it was well done, but also because of a great anecdote about the architect David Netto (please read…you will know it when you see it).
5. This week, I’m reading Romantic Comedy, by Curtis Sittenfeld.

I’m a fan of Sittenfeld, so of course was going to read this. And it is as I expected, ie great: well written, fast moving plot, good characters, satisfying all around! About an SNL-ish sort of show and a romance of one of the writers. If you’re looking for a fun, well written read, and/or a fan of Sittenfeld’s – I highly recommend Romantic Comedy.

April 9, 2023 at 4:16 amYes! Shopping is so boring. I’ve been going to Athleta and Lulu (the clothes work for my lifestyle and the very warm climate where I live) and it seems the styles are the same year in and year out, just in different colors. Eh!
