1. Okay I know it is wildly impractical but I am very drawn to this blue patent bag, from Dries.
I really like this bag! It’s so pretty. And while it’s not a bad price it’s just the kind of piece I’d want to sit on for a while and see if it goes on sale. Which won’t be for a while of course. But it’s striking me in a “must have it” sort of a way. Agh!
2. A piece, via Vice, on an online scam going on around the world. I always hate reading these! I send them to my mom.
3. An interesting piece, via Vanessa Friedman for the NYT, on Victoria Secret’s recently announced rebranding.
4. I randomly came across the old NYT profile when I was looking for some details on Sara Moonves – thought it was interesting. My favorite detail is that she is BFF with the Olsen twins, ha!
5. This week I read Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow, by Gabrielle Levin.
I really enjoyed this – it’s about gaming (and there is a lot of gaming in it) but really it’s a novel about relationships. Zevin’s writing is easy to fall into and I found myself more and more drawn to the story (and I recognized some old favorite games). If you are looking for something for a good read that’s a little more literary than a beach/romance/thriller, I recommend Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow.
