1. This week, sharing this simple cotton dress from Ninety Percent.

This is the sort of item I’m always trying to get from someplace like Gap (preferably during a 40% off sale). But it never comes out exactly how I like. I love the color, the cut, everything. It’s a little pricey for just a simple t-shirt dress but I can see throwing it on all the time in summer. I’ve never heard of this brand and the whole line looks quite good!

2. I adored this interview, via Variety, with Kim Cattrall. I think she comes off so well, honestly. Go KC.

3. I enjoyed this article, via The Guardian, about how to mix styles to have a nicely decorated home – You Have To Have Bad Taste.

4. Sharing this heartbreaking piece, via CNN, about a young mother with postpartum depression. I’m sharing this because postpartum is real – I had it and it was incredibly difficult. I feel like we say it all the time – it isn’t talked about enough.

5. This week, I read The Very Nice Box, by Eve Gleichman and Laura Blackett.

I really liked this one! A friend (a furniture designer!) recommended it to me – the book is about a woman who works at a sort of IKEA, and how she navigates dating and prior trauma and her job. I know I’m describing it badly. Its a very clever read and fast, as well. If you’re looking for an intelligent, funny, interesting read, try out The Very Nice Box.
