1. This year, I’ve really developed an Etsy addiction. Especially for jewelry! This is my newest find:
Lately I’ve been loving more colorful, fun pieces of jewelry to layer with my usual items…it always adds some much needed color. This is very adorable! And such a fun layering piece for summer. And free shipping! A great way to liven up outfits.
2. First up, a piece via Vanity Fair, about how Russia’s most famous contemporary gallery/space is losing major exhibitions. I think it’s only natural….and it should be noted that Dasha Zhukova has pretty strongly condemned the war.
3. I enjoyed this piece, via the NYT, about Miu Miu’s micro mini skirt. There is no age in which I would have been able to wear this. But more power to those who can.
4. I thought this Cosmo article, about the “it girls” of Instagram, was pretty interesting.
5. And finally, it isn’t an easy article to read, but an important one, via AP, from their last two reporters in Mariupol. These journalists stayed so they could report.
6. This week, I read Euphoria, by Lily King.
This was good. Very good! Historical fiction, inspired by the life of Margaret Mead. There’s a love triangle, anthropology, shifting perspectives, and because it’s Lily King (who I’m a big fan of) beautiful writing. If you like literary fiction and especially historical fiction, I highly recommend Euphoria.

March 18, 2022 at 11:18 amI’ve been reading news about how Russian nationals living abroad being stripped away of their wealth and belongs because of the war. The war is condemnable but there should be a line between the nation who started the war and its innocent people who have no control over it.
