1. I know I share a lot of Loewe Puzzle bags. But I love mine, and they have such great colors – this week sharing, this adorable mini in the happiest spring green!
I have said many times how much I like my Puzzle! It’s fun and I really like the construction. I often wish I had one in a nice fun color, and this would be tops for me, if I were to get another one. I find the mini a tad bit too small for my needs, otherwise I’d be sooo tempted.
Also, a reader sent me this blog, which I have enjoyed – she has a great post on the Puzzle!
2. A fun piece, via the NYT, about why “streetwear is dead.” Spoiler: it’s not dead! It’s just everywhere. Long live streetwear!
3. I really enjoyed this thoughtful piece, via The Atlantic, on friendship in “middle age.”
4. A piece I’ve been waiting for, via The Cut, about how Carrie is so rich now. I don’t know why they went in this direction…makes everything less fun/interesting.
5. This week, I read Notes On An Execution, by Danya Kukafka.
This is a murder mystery – but there’s no mystery, at least as to who the murderer, as we learn who the serial killer is in the early pages. Instead, the book centers around the women in his life – a foster sister, a detective, a fiance’s sister. It was propulsive, but also thoughtful, with gorgeous writing. I highly recommend Notes On An Execution.
