Weekend Update

Also, for my Bay Area (and beyond) friends – if you don’t have an air purifier, consider getting one now, before the wildfires really get big (of course they’ve already started…). A great option that will likely sell out is this Coway one which has great reviews and power for a decent price (I’m a purifier aficionado now).

1. This week, sharing a very cute Loewe Puzzle bag in white.

I love this! I’ve already shared multiple times about how much I like my tan Puzzle bag – it remains one of my favorites. I’m normally someone who is REALLY scared of white bags but for some reason this one is very very interesting to me. I like how you can clearly see the puzzle shape and the white edging. Super chic and sleek!

2. Sharing this piece, via Vulture, about a thief who has been terrorizing the publishing industry the last few years. Spoiler alert: unresolved ending! I just didn’t want anyone reading this long article and being disappointed. That said I loved this piece.

3. Posting this article, via the NYTimes, about the popularity of “the exercise dress.” Have you worn these? I’m now intrigued! I don’t think anything can beat my own favorite, loose cotton pants though.

4. One more article, via Vox, about if the houseplant industry is good for the earth.

5. This week, I read The Testament, by John Grisham.

Sometimes you’re just in the mood for a certain sort of thriller. I was in conversation with someone recently, and I asked about their favorite Grisham, and they said this one. And it is satisfying like most Grishams are. I would say this one leans a little more character driven/drama versus straight thriller – I loved it though, loved the characters, a very fun and easy read. If you’re looking for a great Grisham and haven’t read this yet I highly recommend The Testament.
