Hi! I started to write a different post today but kept getting distracted with various online shopping diversions…and then eventually thought, why not share some of the items I’m looking at? And so here we go: a few more items on my wishlist for summer:
By far!! The #1 item on my list is this Lego typewriter. I LOVE typewriter/keyboard reference items and thus really want this. The only thing holding me back is that I have given many, many stern lectures in the past months to my kids about how they are to receive no more Legos and how in general we have TOO MANY in the house – I went a bit crazy early on last year in the stay at home/pandemic guilt and overbought and so I’ve really been trying to keep the number of bricks down. But you know…now I want one, so it’s a different story. Ha. I may just get it for myself as a birthday present, and anyway, in that case it will by far the present my children like and understand the most (versus when I coo over what to them are very boring shoes). Anyway.
This sumptuous bag from The Row. Yes, I have too many bags! But it doesn’t mean I can’t keep looking at them. I really love this navy for some reason, even though normally I’m not a navy girl. It’s the perfect shade and I can see it going well with black and gray and all sorts. I always want to wait to buy The Row on sale however, even though it doesn’t always make it.
Keeping on the navy trend, this dress from Reformation. I’d probably try and see if there was a way to pin close the neckline just a tiny bit. But it’s very pretty, so feminine, with pockets (yes!) and linen (yes!) and wouldn’t this look so nice with some gold jewelry and tan sandals?
Baby pearl bracelet. I actually first got into these baby Akoya pearls via someone I saw wearing a Mikimoto necklace with baby Akoyas. I loved the look so much that I went to look it up at home and while I’m still not clear if Mikimoto sells that style in the US (better for my wallet anyway) I then went trawling on Etsy. And found this oh so pretty and delicate little bracelet. It’s nice, right? I think it’d look great with a few bracelets, stacked.
Clarins lip oil. Because I’d like a new lip product and this looks lovely. I already ordered it in “Candy” to try out. The only thing is I know that my kids are going to find this highly interesting and will have to make sure some disaster doesn’t befall it.
I really hope that this is going to be a long, hot, and less stressful summer than last…what are all of you buying for it? What’s on your wishlists?
