First, thank you all so much for sharing your thoughts on blurbs in Monday’s post! I really appreciate it. I can share more about my own thoughts on blurbs in a future post…I started writing it here but then it just went on and on so I think it’s better in a separate post on publishing, etc.
1. This week, sharing this great painter shirt, from Madewell.
I love this shirt! Not at full price, obviously, as it is Madewell (so you should hold out for at least 25-40% off) but I do think it is such a versatile design well still remaining neutral. LOVE the mixed stripes and just seems like such a great loose cotton shirt to throw on over denim, no?
2. Sharing this piece, via The NY Times, about when influencers make fools of themselves.
3. A fantastic article via The Cut, about whether The Row can survive the pandemic. I hope they can. I loved this piece. One of the best in depth fashion articles I’d read in a while!
4. Did any of you watch the Golden Globes? I laughed AND appreciated the keen insights in this Vulture piece, about how the Globes were actually a psychological thriller.
5. This week, I’m reading The Thursday Murder Club, by Richard Osman.
I like it so far! A lot. This one’s been on my to-read list for a while but I hadn’t gotten around to it…sometimes, when a book is super popular, you kind of worry (at least I do). BUT this one is really good. A bunch of senior citizens solving a murder. Loads of British wit. If you’re looking for a fun, cheerful and intelligently written thriller, I highly recommend The Thursday Murder Club.
