Sale PSA: Very pretty wide legged trousers from Zimmerman, now under $150, a super cute yellow Billabong hoodie that reminds me of high school, now under $20, a simple henley from Everlane, now 50% off (I got a few just to stock up), and an excellent cotton gauze shirt from J.Crew, now $45 (I love this material).
I’m feeling optimistic! Are you? Maybe it’s just because we’ve got sunny weather, and have started doing some playdates again. And hearing about friends starting to get their shots. What is going to be like in a few months, I wonder?
Anyway, feeling better = shopping more (funny how feeling worse also = shopping, quite often). Recently I found myself checking out various designer resale sites, something I haven’t done for some time – I noticed that while the deals aren’t QUITE as good as they were in March-May 2020, when we all thought the markets were going to collapse, there are still some treasures out there. Here are some finds!
Swift Lindy 26. I like Bleu Brighton a lot. In my opinion it’s one of H’s most versatile blues – not too bright, yet not too dull, and it can go with a ton of colors and neutrals. I love both the size and the leather (swift, my favorite for a Lindy even though mine isn’t – I wish it was) AND the verso interior is perfect. The price is fair to good!
The Row Park Tote: After reading The Cut article I recommended on Friday, I went on The Real Real, convinced I was going to find lots of 90% off beautiful Row goodies. Obviously not but there are lots of beautiful items! One of them being this versatile tote in a lovely neutral. I love their bags in general.
Celine Clasp bag: This has always been one of my favorite Celine bag designs. So elegant and sleek! I love the dark green color, very unexpected but still neutral and lovely with the gold. One of those bags that’s both gorgeous handheld and on the shoulder. And Philo era of course.
Brunello Cucinelli Sweater: I wish I could be one of those people who buy Brunello Cucinelli full price. Because it’d mean that I had reached Jeff Bezos levels of wealth, because I don’t think I could ever pay full price, because the items are so low on the resale market, dear Lord. This is a trademark piece, a lovely cashmere blend, and has that wonderful TRR designator of “PRISTINE.”
Hermes Punk Bracelet. Love this bracelet, love the entire Hermes Punk line. This is a lovely little bracelet, priced nicely, which you can wear on your own or layer. I think Hermes fine jewelry is a great option for anyone looking to diversify their jewelry away from the most common designer pieces.
How has your shopping been? I’d love to hear some of your designer resale bargains!
