Sale PSA: A floral hoodie from Rebecca Taylor, now 60% off, simple sandals from Steve Madden, now under $30, \ a pretty dress from Isabel Marant, now 40% off, and Madewell has 40% off almost the entire site (first time I’ve seen this happen – I am waiting for my size in these linen pants!).
Yes, I’ve doubled down on lounge wear. Like everyone else, no? I’ve received a few items in the mail this week, so wanted to share some old and new favorites – note that this is truly at home lounge wear, on the edge of pajamas, not something you would see in like, an Everlane ad of someone getting coffee and working out – and please let me know some good finds of your own, as well!
Gap Ribbed Lounge Culotte: Please note – these haven’t arrived yet, but I have high hopes! I actually bought these as an inexpensive version of these Cale ones (linking HK site as Net-A-Porter is recommending it if you want delivery and on that note, poor NAP – I hope they make it through). The price is right and I think the rib detail adds a little extra.
Uniqlo Ultra Soft Cropped Pants: I just got these! They are really good. No, I don’t think anyone will be giving style awards but they are soft and flowy and cool (as in temperature wise) and have POCKETS. Honestly, most of the lounge wear I’ve been concentrating on has been for warmer temperatures – I usually wear leggings/thicker sweats for the fall, and now that spring has come, am adjusting accordingly. I’m also short, hence all the cropped lengths.
Amazon Capri Joggers: Just got these. Good price, pockets, BUT I have to return because the XS is too large, just a tip to anyone else around my size who might be thinking of ordering.
Everlane Waffle Tee: I think I spoke of these before. Super soft, comfortable, warm but not too warm and loose enough that it’s cool in the sun. I like the slightly cropped length with cropped lounge pants.
Ralph Lauren cropped pajamas: I bought these in gray! I like the pattern and that they are a soft jersey cotton. My neighbors have all seen me wearing pajamas while during yardwork/chasing after a kid and I suspect they’ll be seeing me much more, so why not have some cuter sets?
Anyway. This is basically what I’m wearing all the time now, lately. My brain is fried so I’ll stop now – I am wishing you all a wonderful week. Please make sure to take care of yourselves mentally – it is truly important and don’t hesitate to comment/send a message if you need someone to cheer you on. I am thinking of you!

April 20, 2020 at 8:43 amYay to loungewear! I have been living in a robe and the Uniqlo Joy of Print Soft Stretch PJs (short sleeves + cropped pants version in navy) I like the print & fit, and they’re cool and comfy. Those RL PJs are tempting though ?

April 20, 2020 at 12:19 pmYes loungewear all the time!
Vuori joggers have been my favorite so far. My ugg sweats are the most comfortable but now that it’s getting warmer I need cooler ones. I’ve been doing lots of maxi dress style pajamas a la hill house home which are very comfortable and make me feel a wee bit fancy. Still waiting to pull trigger on the Sleeper version but I should soon…

April 23, 2020 at 10:28 amThe Ugg sweats are super comfortable but physically unflattering, at least on me!

April 21, 2020 at 2:27 amNordstrom’s moonlight pajamas. The material is on the thinner side, but the fabric is super soft. Trust me, your kids or spouse will want to touch you or cuddle you when you wear these (which may be good or bad). They love the feel of it, and so do I of course.

April 21, 2020 at 11:08 amI wear Roots sweatpants every day. With wellington boots in the garden. It’s a look. I can’t imagine going back to regular clothes. There have been so many good sales lately. Nordstrom Canada’s online shop just launched and so many items are on sale. I think everything that is not super comfy is just not being sold. I’m picking up some bargains for when we all leave our homes at some future date.

April 22, 2020 at 2:50 amI love anything uniqlo from their lounge wear section with ‘drape’ in the name! And I don’t wear them exclusively at home…
