Sale PSA: A pretty linen dress which I think I’ve shared before but its cheaper now, from Alexis, now $206, simple slingbacks from Madewell, now 25% off, and this gorgeous Bleu Agate VERSO (Gris Mouette inside) Lindy 26 on sale right now for $4700 from Fashionphile – ugh! I love this so much! I almost didn’t share because I want it for myself. Oh! And the coveted Gold Swift 26 Lindy, also available for $5900, not a bad price at all
Okay. Originally this was going to be another post but I recently discovered my favorite bra had been restocked and thus had to share right away.
I first discovered this bra a little more than a year ago. I ordered it on a whim (damned Uniqlo $99 minimums for free shipping) and it came and I realized – this is my perfect bra. NO hardware of any kind (underwire or clasps or anything) and you just pull it over your head. Super soft. What more could you want?? I am SUPER picky about bras and also REALLY lazy and don’t care at all about beauty, am all about comfort and function. Once I discovered this masterpiece I had planned to buy many more but then Uniqlo sold out and while at first I was not panicked because they always restock they never did!!
I was seriously depressed. I probably checked weekly for months! And then gave up, and now, more than a year later, they are back! I immediately restocked when I saw it online! But by that point it was already all sold out in black which is my preferred bra color and I was so worried and then I saw it was in stock in store at my local Uniqlo. And so I actually dragged my whole family to the mall to get it. Yes, two sulky toddlers, and a sulky husband, and I had to bribe them all with a malt chocolate milkshake but it was worth it because I got my black bras.
Just a quick shot – I’m wearing the bra here, under my shirt, and as you can see there are no lines/weird wrinkles. The material is thick enough to give good coverage but is definitely not a push-up or “padded”.
Some other notes – I’m a 32/34 A (post pregnancy – sigh) and take a size XS, which is perfect on me. If you’re a B cup I’d probably take a size small. Also, I do think this is probably a bra better suited for the less endowed – if you need a lot more support I’m not sure if this would work for you. I HOPE it would because we all should have a bra like this! Maybe worth a try if you have a store near you. But I can’t guarantee it (but please report back if you do try!).
A funny note – as of this morning there are 8 reviews on this bra from people and all five stars and a majority are like me, people who bought it before and were so upset it was gone. I consider these people competition and have thus have stocked up. And now that I am confident in my supply, I am sharing with you! I really hope this makes some of you more comfortable!
Ahh! Another note! Black XS just restocked online! This means I went to the mall for nothing!
Okay – any other bra hoarders here? Do YOU have a favorite comfortable bra? Please share!

October 21, 2019 at 4:27 pmFellow member of the small boob club here. I love the Uniqlo bras too. I live in So Cal and we have been out of stock of the bras in store for at least half a year. Things got so desperate that I ordered Everlane bras (similar price). They are due to arrive tomorrow. We’ll see how they compare

October 21, 2019 at 6:08 pmAnother member of the small boob club. I also have wide shoulders. I really like LuLaLu t-shirt bras. Not cheap but the fits are great!

October 21, 2019 at 6:55 pmI had two of these while transitioning from breastfeeding back to normal… Now unfortunately they don’t fit any more. I’m like you, comfort matters above all else, lol. All my bras now ended up being Natori. I’ve tried different brands but just keep reaching for them for the comfort. I am keeping my uniqlo ones for next pregnancy though.

October 22, 2019 at 5:59 amWish I could wear a bra like this but I have 34 D’s and need more support. I absolutely love Marie Jo bras. I have more than 30 (all white nude and black) really no other colors are necessary

October 22, 2019 at 10:19 amHello, sister!
I sorely miss my 34 B’s from high school but my D’s arrived with menopause. Go figure. These days, support is everything. I think I’ll try Marie Jo bras….I’ve been successful with Soma but I’d like a change……

October 22, 2019 at 6:56 amAs a fellow small chested person, my faves are the Uniqlo Relax Wireless bras. They are more or less seamless, and soooo comfy with zero chance of bra straps falling down. Only downside is that you can’t wear them with anything with a deep V or U neck, in which case i go for ‘your’ Beauty Soft Wireless bras. Love them too!

October 24, 2019 at 10:52 amFellow 32/34a post pregnancy mom. My bra requirements are about the same as yours. This bra has a clasp but is super comfortable and my current favorite. Soma Enbliss Wireless. Size up though.

October 24, 2019 at 8:27 pmThe bras with size 30 band at aerie are gamechangers for me. It amazed me when it actually fit and was comfortable. Thank you, Elle Blogs, for the info!

October 26, 2019 at 6:57 pmI am a big fan of Spanx Brallelujah line: wireless, no padding and front clasp. The wide straps rarely slips down my shoulders, and I’m 5’2. Hope you’ll give them a try and let us know how they compare to Uniqlo’s.
