1. Sharing a sale item today – a very cute knit cashmere sweater (if it’s already warm where you are, get it for later in the year!)
60% off is when I start to get really happy. Right? Most sizes are left and I love it, a great cozy cashmere sweater in the perfect shade of soft camel. Also if you want to read more reviews and see other colors, head over here!
2. A fun article from Curtis Sittenfeld (who wrote Prep though my more recent favorite is her collection of short stories), via the WSJ, talking about her love of NYDJ jeans.

3. Sharing this piece, via NY Times, about how leggings are the future. I thought I’d stop wearing leggings but I haven’t really. I have stopped wearing jeggings (for the most part). I like loose pants over those a lot of the time now.
4. Another fascinating piece, via Wired, on the war to influence your Instagram feed. I used to shop a lot because of images I saw on IG but I haven’t lately; it’s so close to catalog photos a lot of the time and I don’t find that as compelling.
5. This week I read Song of Spiderman, by Glen Berger.

I’m not really a musical person. That doesn’t mean that I don’t like them – I do like them, I really enjoy them when I see them, but I just don’t really think about them too much, you know? I had seen this recommended and so picked it up and was FASCINATED. Basically the book is about the musical Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark and how it all went wrong. And the book is by the guy who wrote the musical! Incredible! A great behind the scenes look at how a musical gets created and made, and if you love Broadway, and even if you don’t, I still highly recommend Song of Spiderman.
