Sharing what I wore last week (when I was home, I was gone in Toronto for the first half) as well as over the weekend – I get requests for “everyday comfort” ideas quite frequently and comfortable clothes are all I wear anymore! So three outfits from last week –
My colder weather go to. A J.Crew sweater blazer (now an additional 40% off!), Everlane mules, and Elizabeth Suzann Andy pants (in size XXS – Short). My default cooler weather spring look, super easy and the pants are elastic waist!! So I literally wear them all day and even at home, when I’d normally change into sweats. T-shirt underneath is from Madewell.
Now for warmer weather – (the temps here have been see sawing up and down). The lighting is horrible but here I’m wearing a new Zara dress! I’ve had terrible luck with Zara and this has been one of the rare winners. It’s this one, the dress with bows. One warning is that the back is kind of open (which I normally don’t like) – however it’s quite floppy and I just wear a prettier bra underneath. It pulls over the head and has no zipper, which I also prefer for an everyday. The shoes are – Everlane wedge sandals which I really like… I wasn’t sure if I would. But after some initial tightness they have loosened and they are my go to “lazy shoes” when I just want to dash out the door – no straps or anything to deal with. And my husband really likes them, not that I listen to his preferences.
And finally – I think this outfit looks more formal that it actually is, but it is workplace friendly now that I think about it – on top is this Everlane linen shirt – I got a little while ago and have been wearing it quite frequently, it’s a good cropped length and has a split side so nice over high waist pants. The pants are Elizabeth Suzann Silk Florence in size XS-S and the sandals are the same Everlane wedges as above. Just enough to get a tiny bit of extra height. And this is the sort of black/white outfit that I like using my Evelyne TPM for, for a splash of color – (mine is Rouge Casaque, I’ve linked a pretty Rouge Grenat version).

April 22, 2019 at 10:07 amHaha! I wore them all through Toronto and on the plane back nearly lost one (my fault, I took it off to admire and it rolled under the seat) and so decided to give them a rest! But I’ll be wearing them!

April 22, 2019 at 1:06 pmI love that someone else takes their jewelry off to admire it. I’ve almost had a car accident admiring my diamonds in the bright sunlight! Love shiny things!!!

April 22, 2019 at 5:11 pmKat, how are the pants with wrinkling? I sit around all day, but don’t necessarily want my pants to look like I do. Hugs!

April 23, 2019 at 5:16 amWhat bracelet/bangle are you wearing? It seems to be the same one appearing in all outfits. Curious about such a well-loved piece!
