Some Well Priced Earrings

I’m a recent convert to earrings. I was never that into them, and recently have realized that they are a much less tempting grab target for little children than necklaces. And they brighten the face! I’m still always frightened I’m going to lose them though, so have been loathe to “invest” – instead I picked up a few less expensive pairs, and thought I would share some of my favorite finds. Please note that all of the pairs below are light, affordable, and more for “everyday” – there’s no evening earrings here, but then that’s not really my life right now.

Nordstrom CZ Earrings, $30 (normally $50, they’re on Anniversary sale!!).  I don’t know if I’m violating some horribly tacky rule but I love these earrings and recommend them to everyone. I think it’s the third time I’ve mentioned them on the blog. You can wear them to a zillion places carefree – on holiday, random errands with the kids, etc. If you lose one, it’s no big deal. I wear these a lot, and actually I buy a pair almost every year during the sale in yellow or white. Also, maybe they’re just humoring me, but almost everybody thinks they’re real, at least at the 2 carat size that I like and linked to.

Baroque Pearl Drop Earrings, $76. I love baroque pearls and would love to one day have a beautiful long strand. I’ve been in the market for some baroque drop earrings for a while…I just think they look very cool and elegant without being too “done” while still having that museum gift shop look I secretly adore. I really love this version from Grace Lee and was all set to check out with them from Net-A-Porter until I realized the price was for one. I know, I’m really uncool, I didn’t know one earring was really a thing. Anyway, I decided to try and look for a less expensive version…and found these gorgeous ones, with the exact sort of design and size I was looking for, at a great price, from an Etsy seller. $76 buys you solid 14K wire and a pretty baroque pearl…the one I’m wearing is the exact pair I linked to. Shipping was fast too! I am always so happy when I have a FANTASTIC experience from Etsy.

Bloomingdales Flat Ball Earrings, $120. I bought these a while ago, when I was first looking for a pair of plain yellow gold earrings to go with an everyday VCA necklace. I’m actually not really a necklace + earring person to begin with, but I’ve found that if I don’t wear earrings after five or so days my holes start to partially close up, and then its really painful to try to wear earrings again. So I have to have them at least every three days or so. These ball earrings are super light and comfortable. Solid 14K so they won’t irritate your ears. They are technically 50% off to get to the $120 price but to be honest every time I’ve visited the site they are 50% off. Still, a good price.

Costco 14K Hoop Earrings, $120. First of all, I love Costco. Since I have kids, it is by far the store I visit most. If I could, I would buy everything there. I do a dance whenever they’re having one of those Aidell sausage days. Anyway. The other day I was browsing the jewelry section (in my Costco, it is right next to the organic fruit), and spotted these earrings. And then I saw the price. Hoorah! They are hollow but look thick and expensive and I think very on trend as well. The fact that they are hollow actually makes them super light and comfortable. And of course Costco has excellent customer service. Very very happy with these!

I have a pair of gray pearl earrings much like the ones you posted. I also love the mesh earrings, teardrops, and snake earrings from Elsa Peretti.

Love love all your earrings! I’m going to pick up some of your beautiful earrings! I like simplicity and class. I’m usually in a pair of pearl studs. But your choices are so classy, it’ll help expand my wardrobe. Thank you for the post.

I have the Nordstrom cubic zirconia earrings too, and I love them! (In fact, I think I originally found them through your blog.) I recently ordered some earrings from Mejuri and have been liking them (specifically, the Boyfriend Mini hoops). Simple design, reasonable price, although only gold plated.

Costco for earrings? I just looked at some online and they say they’re made in Italy, too! I’ll check them out for sure. I just got an amazing pair of Bony Levy gold hoop earrings– I would have bought them full price, but he was making a store appearance and everything was 25% off. Tho Nordstrom zirconia earrings are great. I like them for travel.
