Today I thought I’d share with you a favorite dress of mine…especially since now it’s on sale! This one is from Diane von Furstenberg, and I like this one so much I have it in two prints – I picked up another recently after I saw it on sale. I haven’t bought dress multiples since another one of my favorites, the Zarita (currently 25% off all classic colors!), came along years ago, and I picked up gray and black.
The dress is called the Camila Two, and I think it’s perfect for summer. I have wide shoulders, and was always told that I shouldn’t buy off the shoulder styles, so I’ve tended to avoid them. I liked this one so much though that I had to try it on, and it ended up working for me. Maybe because the neckline is a bit softer, not as defined.
I bought the white one pictured above last year, but only wore it once that year due to my pregnancy. It was so comfortable, flowy and pretty…and even Mr. Feather approved, which almost never happens on a dress like this (uneven hems, complicated shoulders, and a billowy silhouette are all not his preferred features). I love this season’s blue batik print even more, and plus I’d feel more comfortable wearing this colorway to an event like a wedding. So I had to pick it up when I saw it on sale!
I love this batik print – very pretty, and the blue is the perfect shade. I really enjoy wearing this dress – it feels very feminine and pretty, yet is comfortable and not constricting at all. I’m definitely packing one of these on any future beach vacations.
DVF also makes a blouse version of this dress – I love this navy snake leaves print (I wish they had this in a dress) as well as this colorful paisley floral. And finally, there’s also a butterfly version of the Camila which I believe just came out – it’s almost like a combination of the two prints I have above.
Do you have multiple colorways of any clothing items? I’ve been trying so hard to abstain…but as I said, I love this dress.

March 28, 2016 at 1:36 pmGorgeous dress. How does the sizing run compared to zarita dress?
Katherine
March 28, 2016 at 8:37 pmSizing runs similar though its a looser dress so more room to play around with – I got a 0, which is my size in Zarita, though 0 in Zarita was tight right after baby – this one was not, ha!

March 30, 2016 at 10:06 amGorgeous! Seeing the colour made me think of your blue paradise Kelly. I have a bag in this wonderful colour too and would love to see a post about incorporating it into a mostly neutral wardrobe. Best wishes, Catherine
