Recent Buys – Everlane Cashmere, Leopard Flats, and Diptyque Rose

I’ve received feedback that some of the items I share are quickly sold out, especially if I wait too long to post them, so I’ve made resolution to be faster and share more often. If you have any other reader requests, just let me know. In the meantime, here are some of my favorite recent buys.

Ivanka Trump “Chic” flats, $99: I was very pleasantly surprised by these. I have been looking for leopard flats for the longest time, to replace a very worn out pair of AGLs. I first tried these Lanvins, but they just didn’t fit my fit (devastating as they were 50% off, too).

I had these leopard flats in my shopping bag since late last year, and since they hadn’t gone on sale, ever, I bit the bullet and ordered (plus even full price, they’re under $100). They’re a great buy – really comfortable, and I love, love the little hidden wedge heel. They’re just enough to give you a bit of a boost, but really subtle, so the shoe isn’t screaming “hidden wedge”. Comfortable enough to wear all day, I think these are a great pick for both the office and the weekend. They run true to size for me – I’m a 36.5 (occasionally a 37 if its a smaller running European designer) and took that exact size in these flats.

I’m also wearing the Mars necklace in malachite. Also, the gray agate was just restocked for those who weren’t able to get it earlier.

Everlane Cropped Cashmere Crew, $115: This is my favorite clothing item to date from Everlane. I love the cropped silhouette – I have a longer torso, so cropped items always are better for me in terms of lengthening my bottom half. The cashmere on this one feels softer than on my v-neck (reviewed here), for some reason.

My favorite way to wear this crew is layered over a blouse like above, or even a shirtdress, which I can’t wait to do once it gets warmer. I’m on the waitlist for the black now. If you’re new to Everlane, I’d be grateful if you used my referral link. Thank you!

Diptyque Rosaviola candle, $70, Diptyque Rose rollerball, $48: I love Diptyque (like every other girl out there), and also the scent of roses. So when I saw this candle, designed by Olympia Le-Tan, I was done for…it’s beautiful, and smells heavenly! I also have to admit that there’s a little part of me that can’t wait to burn it all the way through, just so I can have the jar to store little things in. Am I sick?

After I found the candle, I also realized that there was also a perfume rollerball, in a gorgeous rose scent. I love rollerballs since they’re easy to travel with, and I don’t use up enough perfume usually to justify larger sizes. This one came with a darling little sleeve, also designed by Le-Tan, so I had to have it.

Plus, the packaging for both is so gorgeous. I’m a sucker for good packaging. Perfect for a Valentine’s Day gift, no?
