Here are some tidbits that I’ve been enjoying over the past week. Have a great weekend!
1. Are you a Coach fan? I have to admit I hadn’t stopped in the store for years, but lately the past few times I’ve walked by the store, something has caught my eye and I’ve walked in. There’s a lot of great options inside with beautiful leather. If I didn’t already have a Bottega hobo, this Madison bag would have probably gone home with me!
I think it’s the perfect size (though it comes in a larger size too) and is super well thought out in terms of organization. Plus, the price is less than the sales tax alone…of one of the cheaper bags from Chanel. Scary.
2. I have stared at many a photo of Kate Moss and her outfits(I will freely admit to this), but I’ve rarely if ever come across her own, actual fashion advice, verbatim. That’s why I was happily surprised when I came across this article, written by the goddess herself – and about how to be well dressed, to boot! Via The Independent.
3. If you have some time and enjoy the business of fashion, I highly recommend this read in Vanity Fair, about the evolving nature of celebrity stylists. There’s tons of interesting little tidbits in there (usually actresses get to keep a borrowed Oscar gown only if they take home the big prize), but warning – it’s a longer read!
4. No book recommendation today – instead I want to recommend a favorite TV series of mine, which I just realized is available for streaming on Netflix, Freaks and Geeks.
I’m very proud of myself you see because I first watched it when it was actually airing on TV, even though I didn’t get all the jokes at the time. I did buy the Styx album The Grand Illusion because I loved the song “Come Sail Away” so much.
Anyway, if you haven’t watched this amazing show, it’s time you did. So fantastic and really to me, one of the most perfect TV shows ever. Plus Linda Cardellini is beautiful! Expect to see many familiar faces.

February 14, 2014 at 10:30 amGood Morning Katherine,
I was a huge Coach fan back in the day; since I was 11. I stopped buying the bags because I was a bit of a bag snob when they started making them in China. Just two days ago, I purchased the Duffle Sak in British Tan. I love it. I wear it as a cross body and have not had any shoulder pains since wearing it.

February 17, 2014 at 7:58 amI watched Freak and Geeks a few years ago and loved the show. Really wish they had more than 1 season. It’s great to see how successful almost everyone in the cast has become.

February 18, 2014 at 11:57 amI’ve watched the few first episodes of Freaks & Geeks and I NEED to get back into it! Such a good show.. really disappointing that there was only one season.. It’s funny to see how many really successful actors came out of that show!

February 23, 2014 at 8:04 amFreaks and Geeks is wonderful! It is a classic sitcom with a riveting modern flair. My favorite part is Bill’s solitude scene with The Who’s “One” played in the background. It was sweet the way the first season ended. I heard the writers wanted to make Linda get together with James Franco towards the end. It just didn’t sound right. Funnily enough, Linda was the oldest in that cast.
