Sale PSA: The perfect elbow sleeve cashmere pullover from Vince, now under $150, Zella jogger pants, now 40% off, and this excellent (!!) long sweater blazer from J.Crew, now 40% off (I have two of the shorter version and love them)
1. This week, sharing this great sweater, this cropped semi-turtleneck from Reformation.
I love this! A lot! I’ve added a lot of high waist pants lately and so have been searching for high waist top options. I love the slight high neck on this one, which I think balances out the cropped look well. And the price is decent.
PS: If you want a full turtleneck, check out this one.
2. A fascinating, gossipy piece on Rudolph Giuliani’s divorce. I actually have been saving this article for a few weeks because I’ve just had so many to share and well…Giuliani’s just gotten more interesting.
3. I like bad food reviews, I cannot lie. So sharing this one, via The LA Times, of the new sushi restaurant in Chateau Marmont. Is it OK that I think this picture is pretty? I would definitely take a photo for my Instagram.
4. Sharing this piece, via Fashionista, about the authentication process for The Real Real. Not good!
5. Before I share the book of the week, I wanted to share this article, about what families around the world eat, via The NY Times. Okay – and now, my book of the week, which is a kids book, which I normally don’t recommend because I know you all want to read for yourselves but I just love this one so much and it is also one of my favorite gifts to give: This Is How We Do It, by Matt Lamothe.
I love this. The book follows seven different, real families around the world, and shows how the kids eat, sleep, study, and play. It’s truly wonderful, a way to introduce your kids to different cultures and I think sharing books like these to kids are can only be good for humanity, right? I highly recommend This Is How We Do It, and next week I’ll be back with my normal adult reading recommendations (I’m reading some great ones now!).
