Today’s post is with Pam, who has one of the most comprehensive collections of beautiful and rare luxury items that I have ever seen…plus, who is really nice, to boot. A note that today’s post is a little out of this world (well, at least my world) in terms of the items we’re showing. My closet definitely does not look like this. But I still adore to look…stare…and admire…especially when the closet belongs to somebody as gracious as P. Okay then…let’s have at it!
How old are you, what is your name, and what do you do? Where do you live?
I’m Pam, a 21 year-old-girl from Bangkok, Thailand. I currently am a senior year political science student with a sociology and anthropology major.
What are some of the favorite fashion items in your closet?
My favorite fashion items in my closet are some cool sunglasses, bracelets, cute hair accessories, Chanel mini flaps, and Chanel flats and sandals.
What are the items you wear the most?
Limi Feu white shirt, Comme des Garcons harlem pants and Miu Miu glitter shoes. Also I can’t live without H&M denim leggings! Seriously, I can match them with all the tops in my closet.
When did you start collecting Hermes and how did you get so passionate?
First of all, I have to thank my mom for bringing me into the world of Hermes.
My mom started to collect Hermes pieces more than 15 years ago. I got my first Hermes tote bag when I was around 13-14 years old. Got my first Kelly when I was 16 and first Birkin when I was 17. It is so good to be an only child because I can share my bags with my mom!
You clearly have an extremely generous shopping budget. How about somebody who wants to get started with a collection? What would be your recommendations for what to buy for somebody with a US $5,000 budget? What about $10,000?
For a $5,000 budget I would recommend buying a Chanel flap, because you can carry it from Disney Land to an evening party.
For a $10,000 budget I would recommend to just save a little more and buy a Hermes Birkin or Kelly. They are classic pieces of art…you will not regret it!
What do you wear on a casual day and on a night out on the town?
On a casual day I like to wear a white shirt with black pants. Sometimes cool blouses with Siwy denim. At night…. I mostly stay at my home so for my pajamas, I wear H&M t-shirts with cute custom made pants which I had made using fabrics I brought from Japan.
