1. Today I want to share the latest sunglasses on my wishlist. I typically buy a new pair every summer – yes I have a thing for sunglasses! I love funkier colors and a cat eye right now so these are my current favorite, via Fendi.
Like I said, I’m a sunglass fanatic so I’d love to hear yours!
2. I had never heard of Veronique Peck, Gregory Peck’s very stylish French journalist wife, until I saw this feature in Vanity Fair. Her style, as modeled on her daughters and their friends, was simply amazing! I loved every single piece – this is a woman who knew her style and wasn’t afraid to stand out!
3. I’ve always loved the style of Virginie Mouzat, the former fashion editor at Le Figaro.
So I loved this feature on Ms. Mouzat from Business of Fashion! It was great reading about one of my favorite editors (and I wish I understood French, so I could understand the entirety of that scathing Tom Ford review). Enjoy.
4. For fans of Margaret Atwood, I wanted to share some (old) news – the last book in her MaddAddam trilogy, appropriately titled “MaddAddam,” came out last year.
I own and love almost all of Margaret Atwood’s works, and the MaddAddam trilogy is no exception. If you’re a fan of Atwood’s past work, I would recommend starting with the first, Oryx and Crake, and going from there.
Enjoy your weekend!

May 23, 2014 at 8:50 amI’m leaning towards those kinds of sunglasses lately too! I just picked up a pair of Oliver Peoples from my eye doctor – I loved the unexpected green color! I could have sworn I saw this online somewhere at a US department store but right now the only good link I can find to the green color is on a UK site (sorry!).

May 23, 2014 at 6:07 pmIs anyone else over the whole jacket just worn on the shoulders? It could be blizzarding and 50 below and the fashion editors would still just have their jackets draped on their shoulders. Use the freakin’ sleeves! Whew, glad I got that off my chest.
Back to topic: I’m not a sunglasses person. I have one – an old Revo from decades ago that I wear skiing. But I really like this Marni pair: http://www.marni.com/item/store/MARNI/tskay/3FD17CD7/season/main/rr/1/cod10/46325427UR/areaid//sts/

May 24, 2014 at 6:39 pmHi TC, I never have been able to pull it off myself! I like the look on others that can pull it off though. Those Marnis are awesome and they seem to be OK for a small face! Hope I can try them on soon.

May 24, 2014 at 8:15 pmI tried on the Marni sunglasses and they looked surprisingly good – enough that I thought about buying a pair, but my good sense took over and reminded me that I don’t wear shades. BTW, I have a small head…not sure I can say I have a small face as I have chipmunk cheeks.
I’ve seen those people wearing their jackets draped on their shoulders and it looks stupid in real life. They can’t move their arms because anything more than bending the elbows will cause the jacket to fall off the shoulders. I love fashion but fashion people are just annoying.

May 26, 2014 at 8:26 pmAny further recommendations for sunglasses for Asian with a flat nose bridge?

May 26, 2014 at 10:18 pmHave you tried Ray Ban aviators or aviators in general? I find they are good because they usually have nose pads which helps 🙂
