Happy Friday, everybody! This is my final wedding post and I have really appreciated every kind comment, email and message from you all. I know that quite a few readers are engaged and/or just planning for the future, so don’t hesitate to email or tweet me if you have any questions about wedding planning. Am always happy to help!
Guests milling around before we had our first dance – to the right were all the dinner tables, from here they had a 180 view of San Francisco including the bridge to the very left.
Coming up are photos of our dessert table – apparently this was one of our guest’s favorite aspects about the wedding and my advice to other brides and grooms would be to provide as much food and dessert as possible. People just seem to like looking at huge spreads of food.
Macarons – they are one of Mr. Feather’s favorite desserts in the world!
Some fresh fruit and dried fruits – I personally love fruit and sometimes don’t like having too many super sweet items for dessert.
Our giant Funfetti cupcake and tiers of cupcakes below 🙂
Some various hard candies..
Also as I’ve mentioned before, I LOVE See’s Candies so we had our favorite flavors displayed as well as these little cards showing what was in each of them. The next morning when we woke up, one of the first things Mr. Feather and I said to each other was, “Hey, do you think there are any See’s left from the wedding??” There were a few that we discovered our planner sent to the hotel with us and we gobbled them down!

October 21, 2011 at 4:09 pmYour dessert table looks amazing! We had a wonderful cake, but that's it. I loved the venue where we got married, but they really charged up the wazoo for even a little extra food (aka I wouldn't be surprised if lemon drops adding a couple hundred to the bill…grr!) I guess that's a lot of places in SF generally though….
If you don't mind me asking, where did you get married? That view of SF looks pretty amazing 🙂

October 21, 2011 at 4:16 pmYou both (from what I can see of Mr Feather, too) look AMAZING and so happy! Lovely wedding and photos, lady. I'm so happy for you both! I am inspired by your funfettish and I plan to make a batch of funfetti ice cream this weekend and name it "Feather Flavor." I'll post that and let you know how it turns out!

October 21, 2011 at 9:34 pmI love that you used Jem's version of Maybe I'm amazed for your dance.
We used it for the last dance of the night at our wedding. I, too, discovered it on the OC.
Our DJ was quite a bit of a flake and he got the actual version from the show. So while the song was playing, we got to hear the whole conversation the characters have at the end.
Sigh, there's always something you want to change from the "big day" (like your light cover).
Beautiful pictures. Congratulations!

October 23, 2011 at 1:09 amI certainly couldn't get tired of your wedding posts. It looks like one of the weddings in bridal/wedding planner magazines – the ones everyone strives to emulate. I love living vicariously through you and am a bit sad these posts are over 🙁

October 23, 2011 at 2:39 amBeautiful wedding pictures. I find it strange that your new hubby would not proudly show his face next to his new wife. Weird. Private or not, he's now part of your world unless he's hiding this fact from certain people. Just saying. Like another wife?

October 23, 2011 at 10:21 pmKatherine – Your dress is stunning! Did you get it from the Vera flagship store or from a smaller boutique? How was your alteration experience? I am about to purchase a Vera myself. Since I am also short, I will have to get a bunch chopped off.

October 24, 2011 at 4:00 amLove all the delectable sweets, candies, fruit, and chocolate! Sooo fun! 🙂
Katherine
October 24, 2011 at 5:29 am@Anonymous I got it from a smaller boutique during a Vera Wang trunk show – it was an older style so I didn't see it at the VM boutique. I had to have LOTS chopped off – so certain trumpet styles didnt' work on me cause of that – just my piece of advice 🙂

October 24, 2011 at 9:20 amlovely magical moments shared with us! I am so amazed how things looked so well thought and organized. I got married 11 years ago in a little French village and I just remembered how stressful it all was, even for just 50 guests (kids included)…but looking at these pics make me want to take my wedding pics out and enjoy the beauty of it all.
